The Otago Community Trust is pleased to be working with Community Builders and the Valley Project to provide a one day workshop for community people to explore community innovation, assets, enterprise and capacity building through relationship.
Have you heard the great news Otago? The Central Government announced in late June that it will open up their Warm Up New Zealand insulation subsidy programme to low-income, owner-occupied homes due to lack of uptake of the tenanted property offer.
The ‘Support for Volunteering’ fund is now open. This fund provides government grants for community projects that support and promote volunteering in New Zealand. We are a little biased but our Otago volunteers are among the best, so don't miss out on submitting an application that can support your group in 2017.
The Otago Community Trust in conjunction with St Hilda's Collegiate School are proud to offer an Otago wide workshop / seminar for parents of teenagers and pre-teens being presented by Maree Crabbe. For interested parents this will address the important issues our children are faced with through the internet, media and various social media sites.
The Otago Community Trust is delighted to confirm that it will be supporting up to ten people from rural Otago to attend the 2017 National Rural Health Conference in Wellington (March 30 - April 2) with a scholarship fund of $10,000. The scholarship will be $1,000 per person to be used towards the registration fee, flights and / or accomodation.
Chrome has it's own PDF reader that opens within the browser. Although in most occasions this is convenient, but it does have drawbacks when dealing with PDFs you fill in.
The Otago Community Trust receives many applications annually for donations toward productions, festivals and events occurring within the region. The Trust would like to remind all applicants that applications for assistance toward Productions, Events & Festivals should reach the trust at least three months prior to commencement or opening. Applications received later than three months may not be considered.
Entries for the 2016 Westpac Otago Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are open. The Otago Community Trust is delighted to be once again sponsoring the Not for Profit Award. Here is your chance to enter this year's Awards and become recognised for the great work you do. You do not have to be an Otago Chamber of Commerce member to enter the Awards.
