Time to shine, time to take stock, time to shape our future
4 Aug 2020
This report details the findings of a survey of Aotearoa New Zealand’s tangata whenua, community and voluntary sector in May-June 2020 on the impacts of COVID-19 (as recorded in Levels 2 and 1 of lockdown).
The research is a partnership between the Centre for Social Impact, Hui E! Community Aotearoa, Philanthropy New Zealand, and Volunteering New Zealand.
Common threads are emerging in experiences being reported across the sector, in the desire to harness the power and potential of what was activated during lockdown, and in the will and enthusiasm to reshape the future alongside central and local government, philanthropy and the business sectors.
We will now be encouraging discussion and debate around next steps. We will be discussing the report findings within our networks, making recommendations for action and working with key influencers to achieve positive change.
