Nikita Choveaux

Community Engagement Advisor

With five years of experience in the community sector, Nikita brings a passionate and collaborative approach to community engagement. Her work is grounded in the principles of manaaki (respect, hospitality, and care) and is always seeking to build meaningful partnerships that uplift and empower communities.

Deeply inspired by the incredible mahi happening at the grassroots level, Nikita believes in the power of community-driven initiatives. With a professional philosophy centred on listening, understanding, and supporting the diverse stories and aspirations within our communities, she is committed to creating spaces where everyone feels valued and heard.

When not working, you'll find her exploring walking trails with her whānau, continuously learning through various courses, and enjoying a good book – though 'spare time' can sometimes feel like a rare commodity!
